Rowan’s Men’s D2 ice hockey team (6-2-1) will take on the University of Maryland’s (6-3) D2 team on both Friday night at Holleydell Ice Arena and away at Laurel Ice Gardens.
Last week, the Profs saw a difficult matchup against Niagara University’s D2 (10-0) team in the morning on Sunday, which they ultimately lost 7-3.
Last season, Rowan faced Maryland in a weekend two-game series, where they crushed Maryland away 7-0, and beat them the following day at home with a score of 3-2.
Their last home win came against Millersville University on September 20th, where they won 6-1.
So far this season, out of the nine games the Profs have played, in six of those, they’ve scored six or more goals. In those six games, they’ve won five, with the other coming from an overtime loss.
Rowan looks to get back in the win column after last week.
