By: Rowan Men’s D2 ice hockey team (3-0) will take on West Chester University (3-0) (WCU) D2 on the road on Friday and Millersville (3-2) D2 at Hollydell Ice on Saturday at 8 p.m.
This is the first matchup out of two that the Profs and WCU will face each other this year. Last week’s player of the games, goalie Bobby Kennedy, will be one to look out for as he looks to continue his strong start to the season.
Senior assistant captain Josh Bianchi scored his third goal of the season last week as well, which would ultimately be the decider in that game.
The Profs are also looking to beat Millersville at Hollydell as they face them for the second and last time this season, where they beat Millersville by five goals with an 8-3 win.
In that same game, it saw Freshman Lucas Riccardi collect three points with an assist and two goals.
Sophomore Max Findley also got four points in the last contest against Millersville and has five points during the span of three games.
Although their point streak ended last week against UDel, he’ll look to continue his hot start to the season with four points in four games.
Rowan aims to keep their undefeated streak alive during this next set of games this weekend.
