The Profs prepare to kick off another weekend of hockey versus the Delaware Blue Hens. Rowan has just come off a split series against Rider this past weekend.
Rowan was able to come out on top of the first of the two games with a score of 4-1. They fell to Rider in the last game in a heavy-scoring match up, 6-4.
Delaware is also coming off a split home-and-home weekend. They fell to Maryland in the first opening game and were able to hold them off the next day in Maryland with a score of 5-4.
The Blue Hens will hold the first game of the home and home series in Delaware on Dec. 6 and the Profs are set to host at Hollydell on Dec. 7.
They both have split their past weekend games, this series will benefit either team, with a clean sweep.
Forward Brian Kramer has 19 points in 20 games for the Blue Hens. With 9 goals and 10 assists, it will be challenging for the Profs to keep track of Kramer on the ice.
Kramer has tallied points in all three phases of the game, scoring once on the power play and once while short-handed.
Joseph Hooper has been between the pipes for 17 of the Blue Hens 20 games. Hooper will be coming into the weekend with a record of 7-8 defending the net, with one loss in overtime.
It will be interesting to see the decision the Blue Hens make in goal, especially playing a home-and-home game.
Rowan will be looking to get through whichever goalkeeper the Blue Hens choose.
Forward Nicholas Thomas has been a powerful asset for the Profs.
Thomas has played in 15 games, racking up 14 points this season. With 7 goals and 7 assists, Thomas hopes to add onto those numbers.
If the Profs go on the man advantage, it will be important to keep an eye on Thomas, who has 2 power-play goals so far.
Jake Booth has been in the net for 10 of the Prof's games this season. Coming in at 5-5 in net, Booth looks to be able to extend his goalie record above .500.
Both the Profs and the Blue Hens will look to sweep this home-and-home contest. Rowan will be trying to climb the rankings with wins, as we get into prime time before the end of the regular season.
