Rowan’s Men’s D2 ice hockey team (5-1-1) will take on Niagara University’s (8-0) D2 team at their home, the Hollydell Ice Arena, on Sunday at 8:30 AM in a non-conference matchup.
Two weeks ago, Rowan went on a three-game road trip that saw the Profs play Wake Forest, who are last season’s Admiral Cup winners, and won with a score of 7-4.
The following two days, Rowan played two games against High Point University, a tough team, but managed to secure a dominating 7-2 win after the team lost the first game against HPU.
Now they are set to face one of their more difficult opponents this season in Niagara, as this will be the only time these two face off this season.
